Purchase a 50g packet of this nourishing bush food as a healthy and ethical gift for yourself, or someone you love.
This wattleseed (Acacia colei) is sustainable wild harvested, lightly roasted and coarse ground, produced by First Nations rangers and communities looking after culture and Country.
The roasted seed is aromatic and flavourful and can be used as a super healthy flavouring for a huge range sweet or savoury dishes and drinks.
We love it on muesli, in home baked bread or sweets, as a savoury spice alongside salt and pepper. Or, instead of a coffee, why not have a Wattleseed Latte or Hot Wattle. Simply add a teaspoon or two to hot water or milk and enjoy.
The protein-rich superfood is high in dietary fibre, antioxidants, iron, potassium, and healthy fats, lowering the sugar levels of the food with which it is combined (making it especially good for people with diabetes).
Profits from this product support the Wattleseed Collective to establish as a viable social enterprise, create sustainable and meaningful economic opportunities, nurture traditions, make healthy native foods accessible in communities, and support people to be on, and look after Country. Thank you for your purchase!
If you would like to purchase a greater amount of wattleseed, please contact the Wattleseed Collective by email at wattleseed@environskimberley.org.au.
