Proceeds from EK Merchandise contribute to our ongoing mission to Protect the Kimberley.
Purchase something today and play your part in conserving our rich environment and unique ecosystems.
Purchase a 50g packet of wild-harvested Kimberley wattleseed.
This wattleseed (Acacia colei) is collected by hand across the Kimberley by Aboriginal rangers and communities. Each seed is sustainably wild-harvested, then carefully cleaned, lightly roasted, and coarse ground to capture its rich, nutty flavour.
Naturally gluten-free and nutrient-rich, wattleseed is a nourishing native superfood. It is packed with protein, dietary fibre, antioxidants, iron, potassium, and healthy fats, and has a low glycaemic index that helps balance energy levels.
Wattleseed is versatile in both sweet and savoury cooking. Sprinkle it over muesli or granola, bake it into breads and desserts, or use it as a warming spice in sauces, curries, marinades, and dukkah. Stir it through smoothies, blend it into chocolate, or enjoy it as a naturally caffeine-free wattleseed tea or latte by adding a teaspoon or two to hot water or milk.
Every purchase directly supports Collective members, harvesters, creates seasonal work, and helps grow the Wattleseed Collective as a community-led social enterprise. Profits support meaningful local employment and make bush foods more accessible.
Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.
